Admissions

Choosing where to study for your A levels is just as important, if not more so, as choosing the right school for Year 7. These final two years of your education are going to play a huge part in setting you up well for your future, whatever that might look like for you.

Whether you have been at Farnborough Hill for the past five years, or whether you are looking at the School for the first time, explore the Sixth Form here and consider how you will be championed to achieve the future you dream of.

Take some time to reflect on what you have read on this website and arrange to come and see us for both a tour and the Sixth Form Information Evening so you know you are making the best possible choice for the next step in your educational journey. You are also welcome to call us (01252 545197) or email us to discuss any questions. And, when you are ready to apply, you will find all the details you need below.

COME AND SEE US

APPLY TO JOIN THE SIXTH FORM

We try to keep our admissions process for Sixth Form as simple as possible as we understand this is a busy year for you.

Having visited us, the next step in your journey to the Sixth Form on the Hill, is to complete our Application Form which you will find below.  If you are interested in applying for a Scholarship or Means Tested Bursary, please ensure you indicate this on the Application Form and do take into consideration the various application deadlines below.

Everyone who applies to join our Sixth Form will be invited to an interview with our Head and Head of Sixth Form.  If you are applying for a Scholarship, these will take place in early November along with an audition or assessment.  All our offers are conditional on you securing six good grades (9 - 6) at GCSE, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Given the demands of A level study, you should have attained at least a grade 7 in the subjects you wish to study at A level (or ideally a grade 9 in Mathematics if you wish to study Further Mathematics).

We aim to send your offer of a place within two weeks of your interview.
