The eagerly-anticipated More House Fashion Show took place on Friday 16 March 2018. This exciting event entails each House working together to create an outfit for their model (one of our staff members), using only recycled materials. The theme was given to the girls only minutes before they began putting together their creations. Everyone held their breath in anticipation for this year’s theme which was ‘outer-space’.
Girls are permitted to use a surprise material, and this year it was tin foil. Campion girls transformed Mr Kurian into Ziggy Stardust, whilst Mrs Fitzwater became the More House Alien. Becket House created an incredible replica of our solar system, which was stylishly modelled by Mr Maxwell, and Howard House turned Mrs McCarthy into a beautiful space princess. The space themed catwalk would not be complete without an astronaut, and Fisher House turned Mrs Butler into just that.
It is fair to say that all of the outfits were out of this world, but Campion House bagged first prize with their representation of Ziggy Stardust. Mrs Camprubi thanked the judges Mr Forrest-Biggs, and Mrs Ireland, the presenters Emily and Verity, and all of the girls involved in making this year’s fashion show one to remember. Big thanks also go to all of the girls involved in helping Mrs Camprubi to set up for this year’s event.
