Farnborough Hill's Swing Band Perform For National Older People’s Day

Swing Band had its first out-of-house gig on Tuesday 22 November.  We went to Victoria Hall in Hartley Wintney to celebrate National Older People’s Day. We were welcomed very kindly by Dorothy and began with two instrumental pieces.  The My Fair Lady medley was a particular hit, and it was a pleasure to see so many of the audience singing along. Maxine sang her GCSE piece Writing on the Wall which was received with a roaring applause.  We had a finale of Reach for the Stars and Sweet Caroline and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring a smile to so many faces.
