Junior Prize Giving 2021

Junior Prize Giving 2021

On the final Friday of term, our annual Junior Prize Giving took place ‘virtually’. The event was streamed from The Grand Salon to parents and pupils from Years 7 to 9 via Zoom. It was a delightful celebration of all our pupils' achievements and an opportunity to recognise all the hard-work and resilience that the girls have put forth.

The event began with an introduction by Deputy Head Girls, Parami and Amélie, followed by a beautiful uplifting address by the Head, Mrs Alexandra Neil, where she reflected on how the challenges of the past year have provided our community with opportunities for growth and positivity. Prizes for the pupils in each Year Group were introduced by their Head of Year and presented by Deputy Head Mrs Zoe Ireland.

The virtual event included some wonderful musical interludes by Sarah (9B) who performed 'Tico Tico' by Z. Abreu on the violin accompanied by Mr Hamish Dustagheer; and Tanishka (9A) who sang 'Talking to the Moon' by Bruno Mars, accompanying herself on guitar.

Our pupils have definitely thrived this academic year and we congratulate them on all they have accomplished. We very much look forward to seeing what our pupils will achieve in the next academic year and wish them a restful summer ahead.
