On Tuesday 15 November, we had a lovely evening of music put together by musicians from GCSE Music classes and Sixth Form. We were lucky to have a variety of performances, including studies from singing to flute to the French horn. Most of the GCSE girls were performing the pieces they hope to record for their coursework - the mics were all up in case anyone performed a piece they were particularly happy with.
Everyone performed brilliantly and, as an A level musician, it is always a treat to see what the musicians in the younger years are working on. Performance can be a daunting experience, but everyone rose to the occasion marvellously and even if we felt there may have been imperfections, that just gives us something to work towards for next time. Well done to everyone who performed. I am looking forward to everyone's next performances.
