Mrs Alexandra Neil, Head, applauds the decision to use Centre Assessment Grades for A level and GCSE results:
“We welcome the announcement by Ofqual that this year’s A level and GCSE results will now be awarded in line with Centre Assessment Grades.
“These are truly strange times that we find ourselves in, and no grading system in lieu of examinations will ever be perfect, but we are confident that the information we submitted to the examination boards followed a very robust process and is a fair reflection of our students’ abilities and application by those that know them best.
“The news will undoubtedly bring great relief to many after the turbulence of recent days. As ever, we stand ready to support our Farnborough Hill girls with their next steps and are immensely proud of the resilience they have displayed in these unprecedented times.”
