Last week we welcomed Old Girl, Vicky Cunningham (2018), back to school. After studying A level Psychology, Vicky went on to study the subject at both undergraduate and Masters level. Vicky is now employed as an Assistant Psychologist at a school, working towards becoming a Clinical Psychologist.
Vicky met with a group of 15 pupils from across the Year Groups. Vicky discussed her education journey, showing the girls a picture of the School - she has kept on each of her study desks as inspiration. Vicky talked about her school life and how that led her to pursue her passion for Psychology.
Vicky also shared her love of volunteering, which started at Farnborough Hill through Chaplaincy. Vicky talked of the huge benefits of volunteering both for your self esteem and your CV. Vicky currently volunteers with the Girl Guides, is involved in their mentoring programme, as well as being a governor at a local school.
