Isabella (9α) reflects on her Bronze Duke of Edinborough Expedition with her group last weekend:
"Over the long Bank Holiday weekend, we went on our Bronze DofE Expedition, and it was a lot of fun! We set off on Sunday morning, and got lost right at the start (which was encouraging!) but we soon found our way back on the right track. After getting suspicious looks from a field of horses and trekking up a very large hill, we arrived at our campsite, set up our tents and had some much-needed dinner.
We started the second day somewhat more refreshed, and headed off, luckily not up a hill this time, but the rain began around halfway through our journey. We were all very relieved when we found the end point and could rest, feeling satisfied that we had completed our route.
It was such a fun time, with amazing experiences that ultimately brought us closer together. Thank you so much to everyone involved in organising this; we all loved it a lot."
