Sixth Form Students Celebrate the End of an Era

This week has been full of farewells for the Upper Sixth as they say a temporary goodbye to the Hill and prepare to go on study leave.  Over the past few days, the girls have treated us to a variety of shenanigans that we will remember fondly.

On Wednesday, the Year Group dusted off their old uniforms from the pits of their wardrobes, decorated them with all sorts of sequins and fluffy finery and donned them to school (cue the shirt-signing and millions of photos on the Hill!).  Then, on Thursday, the early birds caught the worm and arrived bright and early, bringing the Wild West to the Hill as they donned stetsons, embraced the tassel and clipped down the halls in their cowthey boots.  They decked the School out with particularly humorous Wild West-themed wanted posters of the Senior Leadership Team, together with teacher-themed meme posters.

Today, the Leavers’ Mass was more poignant and reflective as we invited the parents along.  In the afternoon, the Year Group treated the whole school to their final Assembly in the Hall and it was so special to witness the entire school community wish the Upper Sixth the very best for their upcoming examinations.
