Sixth Form Students Showcase Musical Talents at Farewell Concert

On Monday evening the Upper Sixth gave a short Farewell Concert in a sun-soaked St Cecilia’s.  Organised by the outgoing Music Captains – Abigail (U6SUT) and Naomi (U6MAC) – the audience was treated to a wonderfully varied programme of music, including solos and ensembles and ranging from Bach to Elgar.  All of the girls who performed have been involved in the musical life of the School throughout their time at Farnborough Hill, participating in choirs, orchestras and various ensembles.  From solo pianists to the small ensemble of Upper Sixth singers, these were performances that were as poignant as they were polished. 

We wish the Upper Sixth the very best of luck in their forthcoming examinations and thank them for everything they have contributed to Music over the last seven years.
