Farnborough Hill's Young Enterprise team, Serendipity, has been competing in the YE Company of the Year competition. Having won the Area and County final before this, the group were thrilled to be on their way to the Regional Finals.
The pressure was on, with incredible competition at this stage with products including board games, food wrap and cable organisers. Serendipity submitted a business report, completed an interview round and then delivered a presentation to the audience at Samsung HQ in London. Having all gone well, the time came to wait for the final decision… and to their total surprise… they won!
The group are going to be competing in the UK Final against 12 teams from all over the United Kingdom, plus Gibraltar. To add to their joy, their centre Lead, Miss Lucy Miller, won an award for her 20-year contribution to the Young Enterprise charity, recognising all her hard work and commitment. Many congratulations to her.
The girls had a blast and are excited for what the future holds for them as they make their way to the UK Final - they could not have come this far without their amazing business advisor Nick White and their fabulous centre lead Miss Miller, who have given them integral advice and supported them throughout their whole journey.
