Art and Design Exhibition
Our students' artistic and design talent was showcased on Friday 23 June 2017 with an exhibition of Art, Photography and Design and Technology GCSE and A level work. The exhibition took place after the Sports Afternoon and many parents, girls and staff took the opportunity to look at some of the wonderful Art and Design work which has been produced this year.
St Joseph's was transformed into a gallery and a huge variety of pieces, produced in a range of different media, were on display. Exhibits included paintings, photographs, textile pieces, ceramics, resistant materials and graphic communication submitted for the following courses:
- GCSE Art & Design - Personal Portfolios with the theme of 'Structures' and 'Similarities &/or Differences' and an externally set assignment with the theme of 'Beginning &/or End'.
- AS level Art & Design - Fine Art and Photography - Coursework, theme: 'Relationships'; Exam, theme: 'Structures'
- A level Art & Design - Fine Art and Graphic Communication - Themes: 'Combinations and Alliances'; Exam, theme: 'Environment'
- A level Design & Technology
