It was wonderful to see the happy faces of nearly 140 Year 5 pupils who visited us today to take part in Busy Bees. In the glorious sunshine, they enjoyed a taster of life at Farnborough Hill. They were able to choose from a wide variety of activities from Maths to Music, Sport to Art, Languages to Science and more. Lessons with our fantastic teachers were lively and interesting and enhanced by our wonderful student helpers from Years 11 and 12, who all remember the fun of Busy Bees when they themselves were in Year 5.
The day ended with a presentation to parents in the Hall and the girls returned home laden with written work and art which they had produced during this busy day. Judging by the smiles and chatter, the girls enjoyed the day as much as we did and went home having made lots of new friends and with very happy memories.
