Campion House Captains, Izzie and Mimi (Upper Sixth) report:
The Farnborough Hill Christmas Bazaar, which took place on Sunday 2 December 2018, is an event that both staff and girls always look forward to, and is a great start to the festive season. This year’s Bazaar was a hugely enjoyable event, with family and friends enjoying a wide variety of stalls; our renowned Bottle Tombola was especially popular. Thanks to the generous donations from staff and girls alike, the stalls this year were particularly exciting, and all profit made will be distributed to each House’s chosen charity. We also enjoyed a wide selection of Christmas treats, including cakes, crepes, and even mulled wine. A new addition to our Bazaar this year was the range of stalls from external companies, which provided a wide range of seasonal gifts for all to enjoy. We have now heard that the Bazaar raised a spectacular £2400.
A huge thank you must be made to Mrs Swire, the Heads of Houses and all those staff and pupils who contributed to the organisation of this event, without whom such a wonderful occasion would not have been able to take place. This year’s Bazaar has been a great success and a brilliant way to begin the Advent season; it certainly brought the Christmas spirit to Farnborough Hill! Thank you also to the Farnborough Hill Friends for their wonderfully-organised Christmas Market.
