Christmas Bazaar

Christmas Bazaar

Our annual Christmas Bazaar was held on Sunday 3 December 2017 and was a wonderful event.  A wide range of stalls, refreshments and entertainment made for a very festive afternoon whilst raising funds for House charities.

The Bazaar was organised by Campion House which brought in some changes this year, notably the location.  In the past, the Bazaar was always held in the School Hall.  This year, it took place in the Old House, taking advantage of its glorious, Victorian atmosphere (perfect for Christmas) and the increased space and decorative opportunities that this allowed.  Molly (13DAV) and Jess (13STN), Campion House Captains, report on the afternoon's activities:

"On Sunday 3 December there was a change of scene for the annual Christmas Bazaar. The Old House was full of Christmas decorations and various stalls to kick start the celebrations for the festive season. This year, as well as the usual House and Young Enterprise stalls, we invited external sellers which added to the buzzing atmosphere.

"Of course, this would not have happened without a great deal of work setting up on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. A big thank you to everyone who gave up their time and participated in the Bazaar in anyway. Particularly, Mrs Swire who organised the event and the other Heads of House for their support.

"It was a lovely event and definitely put everyone in the Christmas spirit, as well as raising money for many worthwhile charities. We hope to announce the grand total soon, which will be split equally between each of the 5 House charities."
