On Friday 8 December 2017, a packed audience in the Hall was treated to a varied and enjoyable programme of music for Christmas, featuring all of the school’s many choral and instrumental ensembles.
Having been entertained by the Swing Band as they arrived, the audience was treated to everything from the Orchestra’s majestic ‘A Christmas Festival’ to a swinging arrangement of ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ from the Senior Flute Quartet.
The Lower School was equally well represented, with the massed ranks of Year 7 Choir giving a particularly rousing rendition of a ‘Bethlehem Lullaby’. The audience joined in the Congregational Carols with gusto and a great evening was had by all.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a wonderful event and congratulations to all the staff and pupils involved.
