Fund-Raising Success

Mrs Chapman presented a cheque for £1000 to Dr Bright in assembly on Monday 11 January 2016 from money raised from the Apple Heaven and Farnborough Hill Calendar sales last term. This money will be used to help provide daily hot meals for 100 war orphans in Sierra Leone.

Mrs Chapman thanked everyone who bought either the calendar or the apple juice or both, our eager apple pickers in Years 7 and 8, our calendar photographers for their superb shots and our grounds team for all their hard work.

She mentioned that there are still several cases of Apple Heaven left and bottles can be purchased from Maggie in the Tuck Shop. There are also some calendars left and these are now available at £3 each and can also be purchased from Maggie.
