The whole school enjoyed a wonderful End of Year 11 Assembly on Friday 13 May 2016 and the girls led a great send off for GSCE study leave which began later that day. We opened with Megan’s beautiful rendition of ‘For Good’ from Wicked; then Catriona, Camilla and Felicity gave a very witty and heartfelt speech about notable events over the past five years. We then heard a beautiful reflection read by Jennie, Millie, Emily and Freya and a prayer by Siena and Alice. Presentations to staff followed and it was lovely to see all members of the staff, from teaching staff to the catering, domestic and bursary teams acknowledged (often humorously) by the girls. The gifts came from Siena who impressively baked 70 cakes for the staff! Thanks to Vicky for a super script as well as Lucy, Amy, Verity and Imogen. Particular thanks to Emily for masterminding the whole assembly which was concluded with some final words and a prayer from Mrs Buckle. The very best of luck to this super year group.
