Inspirational Tudor Lectures

On Tuesday 1 March 2016, Year 12 History students attended a series of lectures by eminent Tudor Historians at the London Irish Centre. The highlight of the day was meeting Professor John Guy who discussed different interpretations of Wolsey and Cromwell and reminded us to see Hilary Mantel's interpretation of Cromwell as fiction not fact. Miss Price was star struck when he signed her copy of "Tudor England" and the Sixth Form were impressed to meet some of the historians that we've been studying in class in the flesh.
