Prayer Competition Winners

212 students from Farnborough Hill entered the Knights of St Columba National Prayer Competition last academic year.

The theme was “A Prayer That We Shall Be One Before Almighty God, Regardless Of Faith” and we were pleased to welcome three of the brothers to Assembly on Monday 30 November 2015 to award prizes.

In the junior category (Years 7-9), Annalisa (8α) won the first prize and Molly (10α) and Helen (8A) were runners up. In the senior category (Years 10-13) Emma (11B) not only won the Portsmouth provincial level but was also winner of the national prize. She was delighted with her cash prize of £100.00.

At Assembly, Emma read her winning entry which prayed for greater unity amongst people regardless of faith, particularly at this time of conflict and division. Many congratulations to all of the winners.
