Public Speakers First in Heat

Congratulations to our public speaking team who came FIRST in the Guildford heat of the English Speaking Union Churchill Schools Competition on Wednesday 18 January 2017. 

The team, comprising Tabitha, Shika and Verity, all in Year 10, spoke on the topic: "Oppressive language does more than represent violence, it is violence."

In addition to the team coming first, Verity was pronounced 'Best Questioner'.  We are very proud of this team's achievements and look forward to hearing how they do when they go forward to the branch final in Guildford in 3 weeks time.
