Girls from Years 8-10 had a fantastic week over half term skiing in the Italian Alps with everyone making excellent progress and all groups ascending the beautiful Presena Glacier. The girls took every opportunity to engage in a number of activities including a scavenger hunt, mini Olympics and the most unusual souvenir competition. On the few quiet evenings that we had the girls amused themselves playing cards or running their own beauty parlour!
In addition to the outstanding variety of ski runs, everyone enjoyed the home cooked food at La Roccia (the Rock) where second and third helpings were order of the day. Our thanks goes to the girls for representing Farnborough Hill in such a way that the hotel staff cannot wait to welcome us back in 2020 and a big thank you to Mrs Ireland, Mrs Dunnage, Mr Temple and Mr Maccherini who accompanied the trip. A tiring but enjoyable time was had by all.
