This year's Summer Holidays saw a number of very happy events for some members of staff with three weddings and two new babies!
Weddings
On Saturday 16 July Mr Matthew Brown (Director of ICT/Computing) married Miss Sarah McCarthy at St Tarcisius RC Church in Camberley. It was a beautiful sunny day and was celebrated afterwards at Foxhills Golf Club and Spa in Ottershaw with close friends and family.
On Saturday 23 July Miss Katie Price (Head of History and Head of Year 9) married Mr Eamonn Bell at St Peter’s Church in Farnborough. Music for the service was provided by the Farnborough Hill Senior Choir who sang beautifully. It was a very happy day and was followed by honeymoon in the USA including hiking in Yellowstone.
On Monday 25 July Miss Colleen Ferguson (Teacher of RE and Head of Campion House) married Mr Nicholas Swire at St Paul’s RC Church, West Belfast. The sun came out in the afternoon and they had a really lovely day. Mrs Rix (former Head of RE) was at the wedding and enabled the whole RE department to be reunited for this special occasion.

Babies
The Farnborough Hill community is delighted to welcome two new junior members. Congratulations to Dr James Quinnell (Teacher of English and Head of Becket House) on the birth of Aidan Thomas on 21 July weighing 7lb 8oz and to Miss Lucy Miller (Head of Economics and Business) on the birth of Finley on 23 July 2016 also weighing 7lb 8 oz.
