On Wednesday 28 September 2016 the Art Department took year 10 and 12 examination classes to two major London art exhibitions. They visited the Turner Prize 2016 Exhibition at Tate Britain and the Georgia O'Keeffe Exhibition at Tate Modern. They were also able to see London from the top of the new Tate Modern extension.
The students worked hard collecting research for their new projects and enjoyed the Tate to Tate boat trip between venues.
A member of the public who mistook Year 10 for Sixth Formers complemented them on their behaviour and high standard of drawing. Well done, girls and thank you to the Art Department staff, Mrs Byrne, Mrs Bond and Miss Lawson, for organising this stimulating day.
