On Monday 15 January 2018, three of our students were presented with Exhibition Awards by Trinity College London for achieving the highest distinction in the UK for a practical examination taken in 2016. Many congratulations to Sophie (12DUN), Lottie (12STO) and Lauren (2017 Year 11 Leaver) on this fabulous achievement. The girls received hand-inscribed certificates together with a check for £30 each.
Trinity Drama is one of our very popular extracurricular activities and every year we have a large number of girls who study for the graded Trinity Drama Exams. The girls are coached by Mrs Yvonne Cullen (pictured with Sophie and Lottie) who is a professional actress.
The most recent Trinity Examinations took place on Tuesday 16 January 2018. 54 pupils were examined in groups or solo (see photos using the link below), giving scripted or devised performances. Girls from Year 7 up to Year 11 took grades from 1 to 7 and there was a real variety of acting talent being examined. We were delighted to hear that they all passed with flying colours.
