Verity Wins National Competition

Verity (10B) has been announced as the overall national winner of the Knights of St Columba National Easter Painting Competition 2017.  

Competitors were invited to submit a painting depicting a scene recalling any of the Bible stories from the start of the Easter Triduum to the Feast of Pentecost.

We were delighted to welcome three representatives of the Knights of St Columba to Assembly on Monday 19 June 2017 and even more thrilled to hear that Verity's painting had not only won the first place at local, provincial and national level in the 12-14 age group but was also chosen as the overall national winner across all the age group categories.  This is a fabulous achievement.  Very well done, Verity!
