Year 11 Liturgy

Year 11 Liturgy

Year 11 held their own liturgy on Tuesday 13 October with a mixture of readings, music and hymns. The theme was 'doors', a theme that has been explored on a number of occasions this year.

The students were given colourful paper butterflies on which they wrote their hopes on one side and their fears on another side. They were then stuck on the door leading from the chapel to the Refectory.

Music was provided by Suzannah (11A) who played her own composition and Emma (11a) who played the piano and sang.   Imogen (11A) and Vicky (11?) both read poems.  With a very busy year ahead of them, it was lovely for Year 11 to come together and share a liturgy in this way and a great opportunity to experience some calm and time for reflection.
