Year 7 are learning all about Space in their Science lessons and were lucky enough to spend the day exploring this subject and more at the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium on Tuesday 19 April 2016.
Their packed day included a fascinating journey into Space at the Planetarium looking for evidence of life in our Solar System and beyond and a very engaging workshop looking at forces and bridge-building using K'nex. They were also able to explore the many hands-on exhibits on show at the Centre.
The girls learned lots and had a good day and they particularly enjoyed the opportunity of having their picture taken with a life-sized model of astronaut, Tim Peake (see above)!
Thank you to Dr Wood for organising the trip and to all the staff who came along on the day.
