Young Enterprise Success

Miss Lucy Miller reports:

Congratulations to our Year 10 Young Enterprise students, Sophie, JenaTabithaRebecca (all from 10A) and Phoebe (10α) who represented their company, Purrrfect Paw Post, at the Young Enterprise County and Isle of Wight Final on Wednesday 25 April at the Ordnance Survey Head Office in Southampton. The girls submitted a company report prior to the event and took part in two rounds of interviews by judges, had their trade stand displayed for scoring and finally delivered a superb presentation reporting on their company’s progress to date.

The competition was incredibly tough and the judges really turned up the heat in this round with a gruelling interrogation of their financial management, operations, HR and marketing techniques.

We are thrilled to announce that not only did Purrrfect Paw Post win the award for the 'Best Trade Stand' but they were judged to be the overall 'Best Company' and are now through to the next round of the Young Enterprise Company of the Year Competition, the penultimate round before the National Final.

Congratulations to all the girls who represented the company on the evening and to all the directors of the company. We are incredibly proud of your organisation, teamwork skills, unwavering determination and entrepreneurial spirit. We wish you the very best in the next round of the competition.
