Year 5 Taster Days Bring Big Smiles and Big Energy to The Hill

The Hill has been buzzing with extra energy and excitement recently as we welcomed two wonderful groups of Year 5 pupils for our Taster Days. Designed to give the girls a flavour of life and learning at Farnborough Hill, both days were filled with curiosity, laughter, and lots of smiles.

Our visiting girls tested their resilience and cheered each other on while scaling the climbing wall in PE, explored their creative sides by taking centre stage with some truly excellent Drama performances, and they stretched their brain power in Mathematics.

We made sure to take full advantage of the beautiful June weather, with games in the shady grounds and taster sessions in the breeze. It was wonderful to see the girls interacting so naturally and making new friends within hours of arriving.

A true highlight of both days was the outstanding support from our Year 11 and Upper Sixth helpers. Seeing the easy camaraderie between our current pupils and our potential future joiners is exactly what our school community is all about.

Thank you to all the staff and pupils who helped make these days so special. We are already looking forward to welcoming these familiar faces back to the Hill in the future!
