Junior Prize Giving Marks the End of a Remarkable Year

Junior Prize Giving on Wednesday marked the end of a remarkable academic year, highlighting the journey of our Year 7 and Year 9 pupils. The afternoon was a celebration of academic and co-curricular milestones, community and the unique personality that defines these two Year Groups.

The afternoon opened with Eliza's (9⍺) performance of Oh Shenandoah, illustrating perfectly the talent that enriches our school on a daily basis.

Looking back on the last 11 months, it is outstanding to see how far the girls have come. Year 7 arrived last September and instantly hit the ground running. They look ahead to Year 8 as curious, brave, and wonderfully unique individuals who have managed to take part in lots of school events already. Year 9 have demonstrated true resilience this year. Aside from their major achievements, it has been the everyday determination, overcoming of challenges, and new friendships that have stood out most. They are growing into admirable, grounded young women, exceptionally well-prepared for the exciting chapters ahead in the Upper School.

As we head into the summer holidays, we leave with profound pride for the individuals these pupils are becoming. We wish you all a well-deserved summer!
