At Farnborough Hill, we believe your final years of school should be about more than just your A levels. Our Sixth Form experience is carefully designed to enable you to excel academically while discovering so much more about who you are.

Thursday’s Sixth Form Open Evening was a chance to hear directly from our Headmistress, Mrs Young, and Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Sutton, as they shared with parents the multi-faceted approach that we take to prepare sixth formers for the future. At the same time, our Year 11 pupils and visiting pupils spent time with Mr McCready, Deputy Head - Operations and Mr Smith, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, getting a glimpse into the academic and co-curricular opportunities that help our students thrive, from our RE-Act programme and Enrichment to personalised UCAS support. Our current Head Girl, Naeve (U6LAN), and JLT members, Holly (U6LAN) and Gabriella (U6MCB), were on hand to give pupils the inside scoop on leadership, social life and the personalised support they've received.

The evening continued with a deeper dive into our A level subjects. Year 11 girls and their parents met with our teachers who spoke passionately about their subjects and heard from current Sixth Form students, who discussed their courses and answered questions. To add to the buzz, 13 of our alumnae were on hand to offer their perspective, share their successes and how their time at Farnborough Hill paved the way for their own accomplishments.

The evening was also a chance to explore our state-of-the-art Lafosse Sixth Form Centre and envision where, as sixth formers, girls will study, collaborate, relax and socialise.
