Last week, our Year 11 pupils displayed incredible stamina and grit, completing an exhausting 24-hour non-stop cycling challenge to support Comic Relief. The Endurance Challenge kicked off at 9.00 am on Friday and didn't stop until they crossed the finish line at 9.00 am on Saturday morning with lots of tired, happy faces.
During Friday lunchtime, the atmosphere reached a fever pitch as the whole School joined in the fun. While pupils participated in lively lunchtime activities to boost the fundraising total, our wonderful staff jumped onto the bikes to give the girls a well-earned breather and keep the momentum surging.
Our Year 11s have raised an incredible £6,130 thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community. We feel so proud of the combined effort that made this year’s challenge such a huge success.
