On Tuesday the School was buzzing with curiosity as we hosted our biennial Futures Fair. At an event curated specifically for girls in Year 9 and above, we were delighted to welcome 70 professionals (20 of whom were Old Girls) from an incredible 57 different industries, providing pupils with a unique "speed-dating" style opportunity to explore a very broad range of different career trajectories.

During the evening we heard a keynote address from Ana-Rosa Broster, Senior Payments Project Manager for Virgin Media O2 and a fierce advocate for diversity in the workplace. As a TechWomen 50 and Rising Stars in Telecoms award-winner, Ana-Rosa spoke passionately about the importance of championing opportunities for women in STEM.

The sheer variety of expertise on display ensured that every pupil, regardless of their current interests, found something to spark their imagination. Pupils had the chance to engage with a published Author, a practicing Barrister, a PhD Marine Biologist, Veterinarians, Executives and Directors, to name a few.

Events like this are only possible through the generosity of our community. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the professionals who took time out of their busy schedules to attend and inspire our pupils.
